			The ACC offers tournaments for everyone. We have beginner tournaments for those just learning about chess. We offer Scholastic tournaments for kids. For the serious tournament player we have 3 day tournaments and for the busy chess player 1 day tournaments.

July 25-30, 2011 : Atlanta Chess Center Chess Camp

The Georgia Chess Academy presents a summer camp on July 25th--July 30th.
It will be taught by FM Kazim Gulamali and National Master Richard Francisco.
They both are current co-State Champions.

Participation is limited to the first 30 registrants. If you are a parent and
want to help supervise, then please call. Bring a clock if you have one.
Course curriculum will include Openings, Middlegame, Endgames, and Tactics.
The instructors will cover other areas if needed.

There will be bughouse lessons and a tournament. We will have tournaments where
kids will compete for medals and trophies. The campers will get to play in a
simul or two. Each camper will receive a chess set and board and a course
workbook.

Each day will be as follows: 9-10a.m. is check-in, 10a.m.-12 p.m.is 1st period.
12-1 p.m. is lunchtime, 1-3p.m. is 2nd period, and 3-5 p.m.
On July 30th is the 2011 Atlanta Summer Scholastic. The campers will get to play
in this tournament for no extra cost.

Fee: $199 if received by July 23rd; $219 at site. A half day will be $155.
Make check out to the Georgia Chess Academy. Must sign release. May do that at
the Atlanta Chess Center or call and ask to have one be mailed to you.
